“The Great Hair Detangler”
After trying many different leave ins, oils, serums…I have finally found the one, I have finally found “The Great Hair Detangler”.
As my hair started getting longer, I have noticed it was becoming more tangled on wash days. My staple leave- in conditioner was no longer working so well on the tangles, so I decided to dig down into my cardboard box of hair goodies (products) that has been collected over the years.
As the weeks went on, I tried many of my leaves ins, oils, creams etc….new and old favorites but non of them was cutting it. Has my hair changed in some other way?
Today’s wash day, I used an old favourite, keracare conditioning leave in mist, castor oil , then tried to detangle with not much avail… Then I remembered that my eldest daughter has been using a oil that was stacked away in the bathroom, to seal her hair with. She fell in love with it, it made her natural hair so soft and manageable.
“This is the last product am gonna try”, I thought to myself… before I drag this comb through this hair, by this point I was losing patience with my hair. With high hopes I smoothed a nickle size amount of this oil onto one of the sections of my hair and started combing. The comb slowly slid through my hair, by the 3rd stroke my hair was detangled.
What is this “miraculous” oil, I hear you ask…
Not only have I found it to help with tangles, Avocado oil is known to have many other benefits.
It is useful for moisturising weak, dry, damaged hair. It contains numerous nutrients, for example, vitamins A, B, D, E, amino acids, copper, folic acid, iron, magnesium and protein. The vitamins, amino acids, and high fat content promote healty cell development and are great for maintaining and restoring scalp wellbeing. Every one of these nutrients are beneficial for nourishment and hair growth.
The Avocado oil is light weight thus effectively absorbed into the hair and scalp. It has natural humectant properties adding and locking in moisture. It’s awesome for, fortifying hair, deep conditioning and adding shine. It likewise acts as a natural SPF (sunscreen protectant).
